Growing up poor and black in an impoverished South Chicago ghetto
Paranomalist's host and founder, Ash has always been obsessed with the paranormal, citing Close Encounters of the Third Kind as the first time he knew that he wanted to befriend bald, hairless, sexually androgynous foreigners. When not downloading episodes of To Catch a Predator, Ash works as a freelance illustrator, designer, and animator in Northern NJ with his wife and son.

A decade older than his co-hosts, but sadly, no more mature (and perhaps less so)
John has had a longstanding interest in all things paranormal. John is dyed-in-the-wool Lord of the Rings geek (books and films) and doesn’t feel there’s been any good music made past 1985.  His diverse background includes degrees in Health/Fitness and Computer Science, and he once ran a personal fitness training business before becoming a bloated, middle-aged beermonkey and computer geek.
The Senior Member of the Paranomalists - Host John Carlson
John runs a small website design & marketing firm (www.alchemylabsdigital.com) with his hetero lifepartner, Ash Hamilton.  He lives in his beloved home state of New Jersey with his lovely wife and his two wonderful sons.

Able to list all of the members of Dokken - Host Mark Gray

Never afraid to eat the yellow snow
Paranomalist's co-host Mark was raised by jackals in a small Midwestern town and throughout his life he believes he was “touched” by otherworldly beings. Shortly after he met co-conspirator Ash Hamilton in a chance meeting at a Hardee’s fast food joint and at that point they decided upon one goal… eating their cheeseburgers.. Mark also has a soft spot for ghosts and haunted locations.

He was a frequent guest at many of them in the local area before he moved to New Jersey so that he would actually have something to do. Mark also runs the myspace page for the show at www.myspace.com/paranomalists
